BROWN BESS FLINTLOCK 75 CALIBER The infantry troops of almost the entire world used this gun, from the European Nations allied with the English to the Mexican troops, who used it until the last battle with the U.S. The lock has the signature of the gunsmith William Grice and the date 1762, the crown and the alphabetical letters GR (George Reigning). The smooth bore barrel is made of steel, satin finish and the walnut stock is oil finished. The barrel is 41 3/4″ long, weighs 9 lbs. Item #S.260
