| This Sharps rifle model comes
originally from the transformation of a cavalry model of which it keeps
the patch box and the saddle ring. Thanks to a 1 7/8" octagonal
34" barrel and twist of 1 in 18 1/8" , it was used for 1000
yards target shooting. The English stock and the forend made in
European walnut, that has a German silver cap, is hand checkered and oil
polished. Equipped with adjustable rear sight in elevation and
windage, it can mount the creedmore sight and the tunnel front sight with
interchangeable inserts. Utilizes a set trigger. |

The similarities are the stock with cheek piece, the front band on the
forend, the barrel wedges holding the forend to the barrel, the butt
plate, the adjustable sight equipped with "buck horn", as well
as the underbarrel where the rod used to clean the barrel is
inserted. Utilizes a set trigger. |
